# Today's Shift vs Duty and Shift

The clearest difference is update cadence: Duty and Shift at every 2 days against Today's Shift's every 3 weeks. Today's Shift's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Today's Shift sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Duty and Shift sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Today's Shift ships an update every 3 weeks, Duty and Shift every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
