# SAU vs Task Flow

The clearest difference is rating: Task Flow at 4.7 against SAU's 3.3. Task Flow also leads on ratings volume (332 vs 4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Task Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Flow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Task Flow has 332 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of SAU's written reviews are positive against 78% of Task Flow's.

SAU ships an update every 4 months, Task Flow monthly. The most recent releases landed on July 5, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
