# SAU vs TaskClosure

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskClosure at every 2 days against SAU's every 4 months. TaskClosure also leads on device support (6 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TaskClosure sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAU ships an update every 4 months, TaskClosure every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
