# ChinBell vs TMG Studios

The clearest difference is ads: TMG Studios at none against ChinBell's shown. TMG Studios also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (326 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChinBell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TMG Studios sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TMG Studios holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TMG Studios has 326 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 80% and 80% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
