# FENG CHA vs TleafGreen

The clearest difference is ads: TleafGreen at none against FENG CHA's shown. TleafGreen also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). FENG CHA's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FENG CHA against 5.0 for TleafGreen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FENG CHA has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FENG CHA ships an update every 5 weeks, TleafGreen fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
