# Squalla Disc Golf vs DiscScout

The clearest difference is rating: DiscScout at 4.6 against Squalla Disc Golf's 4.1. DiscScout also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Squalla Disc Golf's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 14) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Squalla Disc Golf sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and DiscScout sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DiscScout holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Squalla Disc Golf has 70 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.
