# WE Read vs 云书法

The clearest difference is update cadence: 云书法 at every 6 months against WE Read's every 12 months. 云书法 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WE Read sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and 云书法 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WE Read ships an update every 12 months, 云书法 every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
