# ComDesk vs ChartDay

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ComDesk at none against ChartDay's 1. ComDesk also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.2). ChartDay's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChartDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ComDesk asks for nothing beyond the download.

ComDesk ships an update every 2 months, ChartDay every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
