# BlaBlaTalk vs Puffless

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BlaBlaTalk at none against Puffless's 11. BlaBlaTalk also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Puffless's advantage is ratings volume (160 vs 7) and review sentiment (67% vs 52%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puffless sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per 7 days. BlaBlaTalk asks for nothing beyond the download.

BlaBlaTalk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puffless has 160 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of BlaBlaTalk's written reviews are positive against 67% of Puffless's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BlaBlaTalk ships an update every 4 weeks, Puffless every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
