# Super Messaging vs Font Keyboard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Font Keyboard at 75% against Super Messaging's 24%. Font Keyboard also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.9) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 67). Super Messaging's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Messaging sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Font Keyboard sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Font Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font Keyboard has 2.3K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Super Messaging's written reviews are positive against 75% of Font Keyboard's.

Super Messaging ships an update fortnightly, Font Keyboard every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
