# File Cube vs MyFiles

The clearest difference is update cadence: File Cube at weekly against MyFiles's every 2 months. File Cube also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. File Cube sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MyFiles sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

File Cube ships an update weekly, MyFiles every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
