# Raycon Energy vs Device Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Raycon Energy at 100% against Device Tracker's 25%. Raycon Energy also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Device Tracker's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (37K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Device Tracker sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Raycon Energy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Device Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Tracker has 37K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Raycon Energy's written reviews are positive against 25% of Device Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Raycon Energy ships an update every 3 weeks, Device Tracker every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
