# GoodRec vs PitchPulse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GoodRec at none against PitchPulse's 2. GoodRec also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 5). PitchPulse's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PitchPulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. GoodRec asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GoodRec against 5.0 for PitchPulse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodRec has 14K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of GoodRec's written reviews are positive against 100% of PitchPulse's.

GoodRec ships an update fortnightly, PitchPulse weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
