# GoodRec vs Tidal Labs

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GoodRec at none against Tidal Labs's 3. GoodRec also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tidal Labs sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. GoodRec asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GoodRec against 5.0 for Tidal Labs. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodRec has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
