# GoodRec vs Upset Alert

The clearest difference is update cadence: Upset Alert at every 5 days against GoodRec's fortnightly. GoodRec's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoodRec ships an update fortnightly, Upset Alert every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
