# Mint Comedy vs GDN Play

The clearest difference is rating: Mint Comedy at 4.6 against GDN Play's 2.9. GDN Play's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mint Comedy sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GDN Play sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mint Comedy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GDN Play has 155 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Mint Comedy ships an update monthly, GDN Play every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
