# Cronos vs AZNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: AZNote at every 2 days against Cronos's every 7 months. Cronos's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cronos sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AZNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cronos ships an update every 7 months, AZNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
