# Emosign vs Sumomo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Emosign at 100% against Sumomo's 13%. Emosign also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.7) and ads (none vs shown). Sumomo's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emosign sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Sumomo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emosign holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sumomo has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
