# WarPoet vs The Builder Bunker

The clearest difference is monetization model: The Builder Bunker at free with in-app purchases against WarPoet's subscription. The Builder Bunker also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). WarPoet's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 8). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WarPoet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and The Builder Bunker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WarPoet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WarPoet has 6.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

WarPoet ships an update every 3 months, The Builder Bunker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
