# Spotwork vs Hopp Driver

The clearest difference is rating: Hopp Driver at 4.8 against Spotwork's 4.2. Spotwork's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 26%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hopp Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 65 and 96 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Spotwork's written reviews are positive against 26% of Hopp Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
