# Locals.com vs Turning Hearts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Turning Hearts at 100% against Locals.com's 53%. Turning Hearts also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12). Locals.com's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (42K vs 7). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locals.com sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Turning Hearts asks for nothing beyond the download.

Locals.com holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Locals.com has 42K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Locals.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of Turning Hearts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
