# Morse Mania vs MorseCAT

The clearest difference is rating: Morse Mania at 4.9 against MorseCAT's 4.0. Morse Mania also leads on ratings volume (8.3K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). MorseCAT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Morse Mania sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MorseCAT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Morse Mania holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morse Mania has 8.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Morse Mania ships an update every 2 months, MorseCAT every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
