# Mindkit vs Grit

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Mindkit at 46 against Grit's 1. Mindkit also leads on device support (4 vs 1). Grit's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindkit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Grit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindkit has 46 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindkit ships an update every 9 days, Grit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
