# Face Draw vs Text & Fly

The clearest difference is rating: Text & Fly at 4.7 against Face Draw's 4.0. Text & Fly also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Face Draw's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 50%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text & Fly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Face Draw asks for nothing beyond the download.

Text & Fly holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text & Fly has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Face Draw's written reviews are positive against 50% of Text & Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Face Draw ships an update every 2 days, Text & Fly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
