# Remove Objects vs Photo Eraser

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Remove Objects at 129K against Photo Eraser's 275. Remove Objects also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and chart position (#28 vs #176). Photo Eraser's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 59%) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remove Objects sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Photo Eraser sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remove Objects holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remove Objects has 129K ratings behind it against 275, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Remove Objects's written reviews are positive against 79% of Photo Eraser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
