# SpeecherPro vs Widget Notes

The clearest difference is rating: SpeecherPro at 4.5 against Widget Notes's 1.0. SpeecherPro also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1) and chart position (#180 vs unranked). Widget Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 53 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

SpeecherPro costs $0.99 and Widget Notes $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpeecherPro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpeecherPro has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SpeecherPro ships an update every 53 months, Widget Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
