# BMS Tool vs Winergy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BMS Tool at 71% against Winergy's 25%. BMS Tool also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 2). Winergy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.9) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BMS Tool sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Winergy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Winergy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of BMS Tool's written reviews are positive against 25% of Winergy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BMS Tool ships an update every 2 months, Winergy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
