# Collected Notes vs Leaf Note

The clearest difference is rating: Collected Notes at 4.7 against Leaf Note's 4.0. Collected Notes also leads on ratings volume (43 vs 1). Leaf Note's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Collected Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Leaf Note sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
