# Stream For OBS vs OBS Controller

The clearest difference is rating: OBS Controller at 4.2 against Stream For OBS's 2.3. OBS Controller also leads on ratings volume (52 vs 3). Stream For OBS's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 23%) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Stream For OBS costs $0.99 and OBS Controller $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OBS Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OBS Controller has 52 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Stream For OBS's written reviews are positive against 23% of OBS Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stream For OBS ships an update every 5 months, OBS Controller every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
