# VTube Studio vs Poseit

The clearest difference is ads: VTube Studio at none against Poseit's shown. VTube Studio also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 335). Poseit's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 60%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VTube Studio sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Poseit sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VTube Studio holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VTube Studio has 2.6K ratings behind it against 335, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of VTube Studio's written reviews are positive against 78% of Poseit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VTube Studio ships an update every 5 weeks, Poseit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
