# Nuuly vs DealDog

The clearest difference is monetization model: DealDog at free against Nuuly's subscription. DealDog also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 66%) and device support (3 vs 1). Nuuly's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 27) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nuuly holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nuuly has 31K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Nuuly's written reviews are positive against 89% of DealDog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nuuly ships an update every 9 days, DealDog every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
