# Nuuly vs Quad Closets

The clearest difference is monetization model: Quad Closets at free against Nuuly's subscription. Quad Closets also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 9 days) and device support (3 vs 1). Nuuly's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 1) and chart position (#207 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Nuuly against 5.0 for Quad Closets. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nuuly has 30K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nuuly ships an update every 9 days, Quad Closets daily. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
