# Nuuly vs Muze Rentals

The clearest difference is monetization model: Muze Rentals at free against Nuuly's subscription. Muze Rentals also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and device support (3 vs 1). Nuuly's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Nuuly against 5.0 for Muze Rentals. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nuuly has 31K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Nuuly's written reviews are positive against 100% of Muze Rentals's.

Nuuly ships an update every 9 days, Muze Rentals every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
