# UniteThe99 vs MM Social

The clearest difference is update cadence: MM Social at every 3 weeks against UniteThe99's every 11 months. MM Social also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 89%). UniteThe99's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UniteThe99 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and MM Social sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for UniteThe99 against 5.0 for MM Social. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniteThe99 has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of UniteThe99's written reviews are positive against 100% of MM Social's.
