# GPX viewer vs GeoTracker Lite

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GPX viewer at 75% against GeoTracker Lite's 23%. GeoTracker Lite's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPX viewer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. GeoTracker Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

GeoTracker Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeoTracker Lite has 269 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of GPX viewer's written reviews are positive against 23% of GeoTracker Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPX viewer ships an update every 3 weeks, GeoTracker Lite every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
