# 1Password vs Wireless Access Control

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wireless Access Control at none against 1Password's 6. Wireless Access Control also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). 1Password's advantage is ratings volume (44K vs 1) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1Password sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Wireless Access Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wireless Access Control holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1Password has 44K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
