# HOMMA vs Petlibro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HOMMA at none against Petlibro's 12. HOMMA also leads on review sentiment (25% vs 13%). Petlibro's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7.4K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Petlibro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. HOMMA asks for nothing beyond the download.

Petlibro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Petlibro has 7.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of HOMMA's written reviews are positive against 13% of Petlibro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HOMMA ships an update monthly, Petlibro weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
