# Amazing Flash Cards vs Study Sets

The clearest difference is update cadence: Amazing Flash Cards at every 4 days against Study Sets's every 4 weeks. Amazing Flash Cards also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 13) and device support (4 vs 2). Study Sets's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amazing Flash Cards sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Study Sets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Sets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazing Flash Cards has 1.3K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 90% and 91% positive.

Amazing Flash Cards ships an update every 4 days, Study Sets every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
