# Amazing Flash Cards vs Flashside

The clearest difference is update cadence: Amazing Flash Cards at every 4 days against Flashside's monthly. Amazing Flash Cards also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). Flashside's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amazing Flash Cards sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Flashside sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashside holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazing Flash Cards has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
