# EMX Express vs Yomly

The clearest difference is ratings volume: EMX Express at 251 against Yomly's 2. Yomly's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yomly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMX Express has 251 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of EMX Express's written reviews are positive against 67% of Yomly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EMX Express ships an update every 2 months, Yomly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
