# Empify vs Self Mastery Courses

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Self Mastery Courses at none against Empify's 25. Self Mastery Courses also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Empify's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Empify sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Self Mastery Courses asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Empify against 5.0 for Self Mastery Courses. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Empify has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
