# Pixel.Fun2 vs Framerate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Framerate at none against Pixel.Fun2's 15. Framerate also leads on ads (none vs shown). Pixel.Fun2's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixel.Fun2 sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Framerate asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pixel.Fun2 ships an update every 2 months, Framerate every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
