# Fonts for DIY Space vs Cutting Studio

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cutting Studio at 53% against Fonts for DIY Space's 8%. Cutting Studio also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Fonts for DIY Space's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (12K vs 977). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fonts for DIY Space sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and Cutting Studio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fonts for DIY Space holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fonts for DIY Space has 12K ratings behind it against 977, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Fonts for DIY Space's written reviews are positive against 53% of Cutting Studio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fonts for DIY Space ships an update every 5 weeks, Cutting Studio fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
