# RSOE vs C

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: C at none against RSOE's 1. C also leads on ratings volume (633 vs 9) and chart position (#192 vs unranked). RSOE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RSOE sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year. C asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for RSOE against 3.9 for C. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: C has 633 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 29% of RSOE's written reviews are positive against 40% of C's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
