# Michelangelo 301 vs BubbaQue's

The clearest difference is rating: Michelangelo 301 at 4.9 against BubbaQue's's 4.4. Michelangelo 301 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (904 vs 7). BubbaQue's's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Michelangelo 301 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Michelangelo 301 has 904 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Michelangelo 301's written reviews are positive against 100% of BubbaQue's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Michelangelo 301 ships an update every 2 months, BubbaQue's every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
