# Splity vs Pulse

The clearest difference is ads: Pulse at none against Splity's shown. Pulse also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splity sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Pulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splity ships an update every 5 weeks, Pulse every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
