# Coffee Book vs CookingBear

The clearest difference is update cadence: CookingBear at every 2 weeks against Coffee Book's monthly. CookingBear also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coffee Book sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and CookingBear sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coffee Book ships an update monthly, CookingBear every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
