# Magic FX vs 3D Superpowers

The clearest difference is rating: Magic FX at 4.5 against 3D Superpowers's 3.9. Magic FX also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 49). 3D Superpowers's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (29% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic FX sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and 3D Superpowers sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic FX holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic FX has 3.3K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Magic FX's written reviews are positive against 29% of 3D Superpowers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic FX ships an update monthly, 3D Superpowers every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 4, 2026.
