# Passcode vs Scanner App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Passcode at none against Scanner App's 4. Passcode also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanner App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Passcode asks for nothing beyond the download.
