# Tangle Master 3D vs Tangled Line 3D

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tangle Master 3D at 385K against Tangled Line 3D's 774. Tangle Master 3D also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tangle Master 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tangled Line 3D sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tangle Master 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tangle Master 3D has 385K ratings behind it against 774, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Tangle Master 3D's written reviews are positive against 23% of Tangled Line 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tangle Master 3D ships an update weekly, Tangled Line 3D every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
